Websites for Single Parents

  • WIC (Women, Infants and Children)
Idaho Department of Health & Welfare
They offer supplemental foods (such as: juice, cereal, milk, eggs, cheese and peanut butter) to pregnant women, infants, and children under 5.
  • A Single Parents Network
This is a website that has forums, articles, news, and more for single parents. Membership is free.
  • South Central Community Action
SCCA offers utility and telephone assistance programs, as well as an emergency food assistance program, a emergency medical program and more.
  • Parent Center
This is one of my favorite sites. It offers information from trying to conceive to family. Detailed information through pregnancy and child development.
  • Parenting: iVillage
This looks to be another interesting site. Seems to have great information about all ages of children as well as on parenting.
